Tribulus terrestris

Tribulus is widely distributed in the Mediterranean region, Middle East and southern Africa, tribulus is an important plant used in traditional Ayurvedic, Arabic and Chinese medicine. Different parts of the tribulus plant are used to treat a variety of conditions.

Traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a male tonic, rejuvenating tonic, aphrodisiac and to:

Maca

Lepidium meyenii

Native to central Peruvian Andean plateaus, this radish like herbaceous plant has small, flat overground leaves. It can withstand extreme weather conditions adapting to strong, cold winds of the mountains.

It's common name is Maca but also goes by Peruvian ginseng. This plant belongs to the brassica (mustard) family. The most relevant plants related to Lepidium meyenii are mustard, turnip, and water cress. Lepidium constitutes one of the largest genera in the Brassicaceae family.

Traditionally:

It has thousands of years of cultivation and traditional use as a medicinal food. It has been said that Inca warriors used to eat maca to increase their energy for battle, but were prohibited from consuming it postconquest, as a measure to protect the women of the conquered city from the warriors’ enhanced sexual impulses.

Horny Goat Weed

Epimedium sagittatum

Native to China, this hardy perennial evergreen plant has spider like flowers which bloom during spring. Its leaves of this plant are used for medical purposes.

A member of the Berberidaceae family Horny Goat Weed, is also referred to as barrenwort, bishop's hat, fairy wings, horny goat weed, or Yn Yang Huo.

Traditionally:

It has earned a good reputation in the annals of Chinese traditional medicine for several medicinal benefits, where records of its use by Chinese medicinal practitioner’s date as far back as more than 2,000 years ago.
