  • Capsule shell: hypromellose (from softwood trees) & water.

Excipient Explanation

We have had to use a small amount of vegan amino acid leucine and colloidal anhydrous silica to prevent the dry herbs clumping together, helping to get them into the capusle shells in a consistent dose for you. Although silica is one of the most naturally abundant minerals on Earth, we need to use a synthesised version in medicine manufacturing to guarantee purity.

Black Cohosh

Actaea racemosa

Native North America and Canada, this perennial plant is grown throughout the world. Also referred to as Black Bugbane or Black Snakeroot this plant is recognised for its distinct flowers. Rather than petals or sepals, it consists of tight clusters of long stamens surrounding a white stigma. The flowers have a sweet smell, and its underground roots and rhizome system is used for medicinal purposes.

This flowering plant is a member of the buttercup family,Ranunculaceaeand is known to:

  • Relieve symptoms of menopause
  • Helps reduce occurrence of menopausal symptoms
  • Relieve hot flushes associated with menopause

Used in traditional Western Herbal Medicine as an antioxidant and to:
